Tourism Tasmania: Off Cuts
TURNING SUMMER'S TACKIEST SOUVENIRS INTO A WINTER'S HOTTEST FASHION

Tea-towels became trousers. Cheesy t-shirts became puffer jackets. And bikinis turned into beanies.
Inspired by Tasmania’s ‘Off Season’, we launched an eco-friendly winter clothing collection of sustainably sourced garments, made solely from old summer tourist tat.

The design system draws inspiration from the garment making process.

In partnership with BMF, Johnson created the range by transforming discarded items like souvenir tees and board shorts into bespoke, avant-garde winter wearables that embody Tasmania’s offbeat and unique charm. And he looked damn good doing it.

And our winter garb sold like hot cakes, with 80% of the range selling out in the first 48 hours.
