The Australian Effie Awards celebrate the year's most effective advertising campaigns in the industry. This year, BMF brought home three Effies which included a Silver Effie in the Food, Confectionary & Snacks category for George Weston Foods (GWF).
The food category was extremely competitive and not only did GWF manage to land on top of the ladder, against McDonald's and KFC, the paper received the highest awarded Effie in the category.
ALDI Australia also received recognition for their 2021 Christmas campaign, picking up a Silver Effie in Retail / Etail category (the highest awarded Effie in the category), as well as a Bronze Effie in the short-term effects category.
